The success of the MTOUGH group has been recognised by the University of Lincoln and as a result in the near future a funded PhD studentship is expected to be advertised on the University website and on various external sites (within the next few weeks). This exciting opportunity will suit those with a good undergraduate degree or post-graduate taught qualifications, who have studied mental toughness previously, perhaps through a dissertation or similar project. The role will also involve some teaching responsibilities of around 6 hours per week, mostly within sport and exercise psychology seminars and laboratory sessions. The successful individual will be working closely with Dr. Crust and Dr. Swann and will provisonally be expected to start in September 2013. More details to follow when the official advertisement is available.
